Watercoloring & freezer paper masking to make a Valentine's day card

Hi,
My vlog & blog for today is a watercolour card that I made using a masking technique. I did not use artist masking fluid, but I used something from the kitchen. Freezer paper is the masking medium today. It was not an artist or craft supply. It is used to wrap and keep meat in a refrigerator ( fridge ). One side of the paper is coated with plastic like substance. Place the shiny plastic coated surface facing the watercolour paper. Then heat is applied using an iron box. The plastic coating on the freezer paper starts to melt and it gets adhered to the watercolour paper. That's how it works. Now its time to paint watercolour the paper.
I used 3 patterns for painting. All the three patterns are cut using Cricut electronic cutter.
once the painting is dried complete, remove the freezer paper to reveal the masked pattern.

Kuppel box / Dome shaped gift box

Hi,
I happened to see a video on youtube recently, a wonderful crafter making a dome-shaped gift box. I couldn't understand her language, but there was subtitle & the video was self-explanatory too. She used some tool called gift bag punch board or something like that to make that. I do not own such punch board, so I made the gift completely on my own. This gift box is very cute and elegant too.
this top of the box look at little dome-shaped.This is really easy to make. I don't think we require a specific tool to make this.

Supplies used are
Scrapbook paper
Double sided tape

Shadow Box Card - Easy method

Hi,
Shadowbox cards are my favourites. I started liking them at once I saw them made by some of the creators of Lawn Fawn. They used their dies for making this box card. As I do not own a die cutting machine, I thought of making by my own. I made one, that was easy too.

Measurements for making the box is
2 cardstocks 7 by 3 1/4 inches
Score the cardstocks at 4 inches  & 6 1/2inches on the 7-inch side.

For inside supporting pieces
3 cardstock pieces measuring 3/4 and 5 inches
score and fold at 1/2 inches from both sides of the 5-inch side.

Embellishments ( I made my own using Lawn Fawn fairy friends stamps )

DIY tea light holder / votive - Recycling old water bottle

Hey,
Today I was cleaning my dining room and found a lot of empty water bottle there. We usually drink bottled drinking water. I usually dispose of lots of drinking bottle in the garbage. Seeing this bottle an idea came to mind. A tea light holder/votive. I used two bottles to make a holder. I applied gold metallic acrylic paint using a cheap makeup sponge on the bottle and let it dry.Once it is dried I painted borders using black acrylic paint. Then pasted flat beads on the border and finally made some polka dots also
This is an easy and humble work

Materials used are
Bottles
Metallic acrylic paint
Crystal flat beads
Tacky glue
