Mother's day card made using watercolor

Hi,
My today's vlog and blog is a watercolour floral card. I used loose rose and leaves on this card.  The colours used are Quinacridone Rose, Blue and grey. Rose colour is well watered down for the rough floral shape. Less watered rose colour is used for the petals. A combination of blue and grey is used to paint leaves. I hand-lettered the sentiments using a brush pen.

Easter cards made from watercolor

Hi,
I made two varieties of Easter cards for this Easter. One is a typical religious Easter card and the other two are secular cards.
For the religious card, I used masking technique using a cross made by taping two pieces of painters tape. I painted loose flowers, buds and leaves around the cross. I painted gold metallic paint on the edges of the card.

Easter eggs cards were made using simple painting and transparent t lifting method. Loose flowers were added to this card also. On the other card, I doodled some designs also

Watercolour Transparent Layering technique

Hey,
I tried some transparent watercolor practise recently. This is inspired by the Jaylee watercolor artist, a watercolor artist youtuber. He has done a wonderful tranparent flower painting. But I used my own way of achieving this LAyering
It is a wonderful tech to practise and try. This works perfect for making cards

This is an awesome technique to try

Watercoloring & freezer paper masking to make a Valentine's day card

Hi,
My vlog & blog for today is a watercolour card that I made using a masking technique. I did not use artist masking fluid, but I used something from the kitchen. Freezer paper is the masking medium today. It was not an artist or craft supply. It is used to wrap and keep meat in a refrigerator ( fridge ). One side of the paper is coated with plastic like substance. Place the shiny plastic coated surface facing the watercolour paper. Then heat is applied using an iron box. The plastic coating on the freezer paper starts to melt and it gets adhered to the watercolour paper. That's how it works. Now its time to paint watercolour the paper.
I used 3 patterns for painting. All the three patterns are cut using Cricut electronic cutter.
once the painting is dried complete, remove the freezer paper to reveal the masked pattern.

Hi,
I like to make watercolour cards.I always want to play with different colours. Coloring makes my mind relaxed and calm. Last time I sent so many watercolour cards to my relatives and friends during Christmas, so this time I am also planning to make Cards using watercolour for the Valentines day.

These cards were made in two sessions. I hand-lettered the greetings in all the cards.

Shadow Box Card - Easy method

Hi,
Shadowbox cards are my favourites. I started liking them at once I saw them made by some of the creators of Lawn Fawn. They used their dies for making this box card. As I do not own a die cutting machine, I thought of making by my own. I made one, that was easy too.

Measurements for making the box is
2 cardstocks 7 by 3 1/4 inches
Score the cardstocks at 4 inches  & 6 1/2inches on the 7-inch side.

For inside supporting pieces
3 cardstock pieces measuring 3/4 and 5 inches
score and fold at 1/2 inches from both sides of the 5-inch side.

Embellishments ( I made my own using Lawn Fawn fairy friends stamps )

Supplies used are
Cardstock
Pencil & ruler
Craft Knife
Embellishments
Double sided tape
Clear glue
