Cute Mini Album

Hi,
 My today's vlog & bog is a mini album making. I decided to make this for my friend who carries pictures of her kids all the time inside her bag. This mini Album will fit inside a medium-sized purse. This album has got some pockets also for journaling or for keeping some photo tags . The total making time is less than one hour.

 I used one sheet scrapbook paper 12 by 12 inches to make the album, some cut pieces were used to decorate the album. I added a belly band also for the album.

Album scheme is given below

Score the paper at 3  1/4, 3  1/2, 6  3/4, 7, 10  1/4  & 10  3/4 inches on oneside

Rotate the paper 90 degrees And score at 4 & 8 inches

Watercolor & doodling a bunch of rose Valentines day card

Hi,
My yesterday's vlog was a doodled and watercoloured card. I have didn't have any intention of making a card, however, the watercoloring that I did on Saturday turned out to be awesome I guess. So I added some more dimension by doodling something on that. I was watercoloring some polka dots in Quinacridone rose colour> it turned out to be good. So I added some leaves using a mix of 2part  Permanent green & 1 part Viridian Green Hue. Then I doodled some easy petals with the help os some waterproof black pen.
That was good to see hmm. I cut the painting into 2 parts and then joined them using a printed vellum sheet.

Cute Wedding Favour box/ treat box/ Thank you gift box/ Valentines gift box

Hi,
My today's vlog and blog is a cute gift box , that I made for an order I received. I made this thank you gift box based on the color theme selected by the bride.
This is like a flush fitting double lidded box with an inner box. This will be a  perfect thank you gift box for a wedding/ baptism / birthday party. I am planning to make the same box for the coming Valentines day as well. It holds a mini scented soap / bath bomb. This is a cute & elegant looking box that everyone will love it

Measurements are 

Outerbox- 2 cardstock 5 * 5 inches ; score at 1/2 & 1 1/4 inches on all the four sides 

Inner box- Cardstock 6  7/16 * 6  7/16 inches ; score at 2 inches on all the four sides

The dimensions of the completed box is 2 1/2 * 2 1/2 * 2 1/8

4 Easy watercolour Christmas cards - Watercolour Christmas card part3 - Holiday craft series 2017

Hi,
I recently made 4 more card designs using my watercolours. One of this design is inspired by an e-card that I got last year. These designs are simply hand drawn or handpainted no complicated steps & not so many supplies were involved in the making of this cards. I just used my watercolour paper and Sakura Koi watercolours and watercolour brushes.

Card 1involved painting stripes & trees
Card 2 is a collection of warm & cosy items like socks, hot chocolate & mittens
Card 3 has the design of triangle trees in a subtle teal blue background.
Card 4 was some presents hanged down from a tree branch

Supplies used are

My today's blog and vlog is a fun fold card. This is a twist and pop-up card. This can be used both as card and also as a scrapbook element or even as a mini album for photos.
this card involves 3 steps, but they are simple

Step 1 Mechanism
Cardstock  2 by 9.5 inches

Step 2 popup piece
Patterned paper  3.5 by 9.5 inches

Step 3
Base card 4.5 by 11.5 inches.

Popup Box card / flower bouquet card

Hello
Who doesn't like flowers? What if we can make a flower bouquet inside a card. So my today's project is a pop-up box card which is filled with flowers, grass and leaves. I made this as a thank you card. But this could serve many occasions.
I used a thick cardstock for making the box. The flowers, leaves and grass were cut using my Cricut explore1 machine
Previously I made a birthday card for a 2-year old using the same pattern but dimensions of the card was different

The box card or pop up card looks like this

 OMG I love it

This is an absolute craft that everyone should try. Though I used a cutting machine to make flowers, grass and leaves, I think it doesn't need a machine's help to cut the same.

Twist and fold square card DIY scrapbook element

Today  I did a scrapbook photo element.It is a folded photo card. This is an old origami fold and really easy to make. This can be used to decorate scrapbook as it can hold many photos

DIY - key holder from Recycled Cardboard

Greetings and welcome to my blog. Thank God for the sunny weather the past 3 days here. Saturday I did a recycling project and uploaded the project in youtube Yey .... my first youtube upload. Happy girl here.....The project was a key holder made from a cardboard box. So it's like a combo of DIY and recycling work for me. We were planning to buy one key holder from a shop, but I changed my mind when I saw a cardboard box, in which our recording stand came.  why cant I change a piece of cardboard to a keyholder? Thats how this project was born

 Materials required are

1. cardboard
2. hotglue glue
3.  acrylic paint 
4. decorative paper pieces or scrapbook paper pieces
5. circle frames
6. embellishments

Wedding Place card DIY

I made this simple place cards for one of my friend's wedding party. She wanted a simple yet elegant looking place cards. So I created a few drafts and this card was her selection. This card is so cute and easy to make and assemble. This place card was an absolute decoration for the table. I have done place cards of different styles, but this is my absolute baby, I love it because of its charm and cuteness.

 Materials required

1. Cardstock - ivory or white coloured [I prefer Canson XL if you use watercolour brush lettering.
2. Brush marker.
3. Paper trimmer and scoring tool to cut and burnish the folds.
4. Candle
5. Flowers and leaves for decorating [I used paper flowers and real leaves]
6. Craft edge punch

My place card measures 7-inch height & 6-inch wide, card folds at 3.5 inches. 

A good option, if you are on a budget, is going for 'the paper studio' heavyweight cardstock you will get  50 or 60 for a price of $9. I got it from ' Hobby lobby' with 40% discount. Try using Microsoft word and printer if you are out of time and not good with brush lettering. 

You can keep it simple with a flower and  leaves as shown in the image.
