Valentines watercolor cards 2018

Hi,
I like to make watercolour cards.I always want to play with different colours. Coloring makes my mind relaxed and calm. Last time I sent so many watercolour cards to my relatives and friends during Christmas, so this time I am also planning to make Cards using watercolour for the Valentines day.

These cards were made in two sessions. I hand-lettered the greetings in all the cards.

Cute Wedding Favour box/ treat box/ Thank you gift box/ Valentines gift box

Hi,
My today's vlog and blog is a cute gift box , that I made for an order I received. I made this thank you gift box based on the color theme selected by the bride.
This is like a flush fitting double lidded box with an inner box. This will be a  perfect thank you gift box for a wedding/ baptism / birthday party. I am planning to make the same box for the coming Valentines day as well. It holds a mini scented soap / bath bomb. This is a cute & elegant looking box that everyone will love it

Measurements are 

Outerbox- 2 cardstock 5 * 5 inches ; score at 1/2 & 1 1/4 inches on all the four sides 

Inner box- Cardstock 6  7/16 * 6  7/16 inches ; score at 2 inches on all the four sides

The dimensions of the completed box is 2 1/2 * 2 1/2 * 2 1/8

Heart easel card

My today's blog and vlog is a heart easel card for valentines day. This is an interactive card, which can be made with or without heart shaped dies. I made my easel card without the help of dies. This is a kind of fun fold card as well. I enjoyed making this. This can be made easily. this will be a perfect interactive card for Valentine's day. Give this your loved ones. I gave this to my mom, she liked it a lot

Valentines Day card using watercolor & freezer paper masking

Hi,
I recently watched someone making a T-shirt using freezer paper masking.
Freezer paper is used to wrap meat. It has a shiny surface ( plastic coated) & a regular surface. When pressed with an iron box the plastic coating melts and it will adhere to the surface to be worked on. I incorporated the same technique to make a card for Valentines craft series. I enjoyed making them.
The iron box temp is set to medium heat setting. Strathmore watercolour paper is used. I used a kitchen freezer paper, nowadays freezer paper is available as craft freezer paper as well. The kitchen freezer paper comes in a big roll, while the other comes in sheets.

Shadow Box Card - Easy method

Hi,
Shadowbox cards are my favourites. I started liking them at once I saw them made by some of the creators of Lawn Fawn. They used their dies for making this box card. As I do not own a die cutting machine, I thought of making by my own. I made one, that was easy too.

Measurements for making the box is
2 cardstocks 7 by 3 1/4 inches
Score the cardstocks at 4 inches  & 6 1/2inches on the 7-inch side.

For inside supporting pieces
3 cardstock pieces measuring 3/4 and 5 inches
score and fold at 1/2 inches from both sides of the 5-inch side.

Embellishments ( I made my own using Lawn Fawn fairy friends stamps )

Christmas treat box

Hi,

My today's blog n vlog is an easy Christmas treat box/ ornament.This is an easy make project. We can make on either designed paper or on embossed cardstock. If designer cardstock is available readily, then the process is super easy. This can be used as an ornament filled with candy or other treats.
